Clearance from buildings of low and medium voltage lines and service lines. Where a low or medium voltage line passes above or adjacent to or terminates on any building, the following minimum clearance from any accessible point, on the basis of maximum sage, shall be observed.

The horizontal clearance between the nearest conductor and any part of such building shall, on the basis of maximum deflection due to pressure, be not less than:
| For Voltage Lines upto 11KV | 1.2 meters (4 ft) |
| For High Voltage Lines above 11KV & upto 33KV | 2.0 meters (6.5 ft) |
| For Extra-high Voltage Lines | 2.0 + 0.3 meters for every 33KV or part thereof. |
